  • Live Stream Guidelines During Covid-19 Lockdowns Only

    To comply with large gathering and social distancing guidelines during COVID-19 while allowing the community access to observe and participate in the meeting of the Governing Board of Kingsburg Joint Union High School District, regular meetings will be live steamed on Zoom. As per Brown Act regulations, 72 hours’ notice is required for the regular meeting agenda which is located at KJUHSD.com. On the posted meeting agenda, a Zoom meeting ID will be provided for remote participation, and can be accessed once posted at KJUHSD.com\Zoom.     Disruption due to internet access or connectivity is not the fault of Kingsburg Joint Union High School District. All attempts will be made to give guidance and access via use of technology to the public. In the event the meeting cannot be livestreamed within an hour of the disruption, the meeting will potentially be postponed and may be re-scheduled.

    Public Comment

    For regular meetings, the public is provided an opportunity to address not only any item on the agenda but any item within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Kingsburg Joint Union High School District.

    Members of the public who wish to provide public comment during observed COVID-19 social distancing guidance may email the district at PublicComment@Kingsburghigh.com by 4:00 p.m. the Friday before the meeting date, which generally lands on Monday. Public comments are limited to three minutes or 450 written words per speaker. Please note you are not compelled to provide a name and can comment anonymously. The public comments will be read in the order they are received. The comments will be read out loud during the public comment portion of the meeting as stated on the agenda.

    For those public members who wish to attend the meeting and/or make public comments in person, the board meeting room located at 1900 18th Avenue in Kingsburg, is open. However, the Board may limit the number of persons in the board meeting at any time pursuant to guidance from public health officials during the COVID-19 pandemic.
